The story about a village broken up by brothers – the eldest Raja Thakur (Amrish Puri) and his brother. Shakti (Anil Kapoor) is the London return “beta” of Raja Thakur. London studies should prepare Shakti to put an end to the ignorant feud of the villagers. Does Shakti fulfill his father’s dream or will he settle with the NRI girlfriend Anita (Pooja Batra) and open up a chain of fast food restaurants? Anita returns home to London after her visit, while Shakti will be joining her later.

Things turn to the worse and Shakti is forced to stay at the village. Will he join the feud or will he resolve it? To save the cause Shakti is forced to marry Tabu. Anita returns to only find Shakti is married. Will Shakti marry Anita also? ……Watch the movie.

Another great production by Priyadarshan. Tabu has given us an outstanding performance along with all the others.
